Very beatiful horsehide shirt
i bought it from a friend cost only 9000 rmb
it looks very new, perfect condition
Real Mccoy's released this shirt in 2015 winter. Most leather shirts are made of deer skin or cowhide by flat head or rrl. There is very small amount of this circulate in the market.

Wow that is just beautiful. I love the contrasting creamy white snaps, the one piece back and double point yoke (echoing the double points on the sawtooth pockets). And the leather looks perfect and not too heavyweight for a shirt. I just wonder about the practicality of it being unlined (despite the beautiful simplicity of that). I guess you could wear a thin t shirt under it to protect the leather a bit from body oils etc, but maybe a thin soft slippy and breathable lining might have made it easier to care for...

Anyway what a result! The fit is just perfect on you - looks like it was made to measure for you... you need to encourage your friend to buy more stuff ;)

thanks it is size 17, which is chest around 112 cm. I usually wear a shirt of size 16, but size 16 or 17 is not a problem for me. Because there is so little amount available on the 2nd hand market. I wont worry too much about the size. Just take my money and give it to me.

Very nice.

I tried the Flathead deerskin shirt and it was nice but I like the look of the Joe McCoy here better. Plus, the FH version was obscenely expensive.

Yeah that’s pretty magical.

I’d also want to wear a light shirt underneath after experiencing the kind of chilly sweaty feeling of bare skin against my unlined Schott 370.

Perhaps the hide would make a difference in comfort?

In any case, wear it in good health!

After seeing a few of your posts @puiyc1203 it’s clear you have access to quite a few high end pieces.

Which do you find yourself wearing most frequently?
