They might, but it's a weird situation.
It'll depend on jurisdiction most likely; ownership of a registered mark in one territory does not extend to another. Vague memory suggests that it's much easier to register a historical mark in Japan than anywhere else, but I don't recall the details. In any case, if Aero have done it, it'll have been above board, I have no doubt. Quite likely pursuant to a pre-existing arrangement before the Buco mark changed hands. It's a fascinating element of the trade, though- tbh, if I bought a jacket rom wither Aero or RMC, I'd rather have their own mark on it than a Buco label, but then I suppose there must be folks who want a Buco repop to be correct down to the label, same as most of us would probably want on an A2 repop.
