Showed the zipper to my tailor and he tried to tighten it a bit but still not a great zipper. You may want to invest on good zippers. Price dropped $1749 sipped. Would be great fit for someone 6ft 170-180lbs

What’s the issue with the zippers? Interested in the coat but a bit confused. Thanks.

Great jacket but The zippers have known issues. I have one but zipper failed and was replaced with YKK. Muchhh better!!

Thanks Christy. How did you replace with YKK? Did you use some service?

So Ron86 had it replaced. I messaged him to ask who and will pass along if he answers. It’s a very wearable jacket now.

I have only run across a guy in Chicago who offers to replace zippers . Another lounger has a YouTube on hand replacing with stitch pattern thru existing holes.

we can also ask @Jiaward I recently got a Grizzly from him with the zipper replaced and it looks great.

Just curious, who was the guy in Chicago? In case I ever need to go to him.

So still not clear if this zipper functions or is broken?

I’ll dig it out - Have to repair a Cal Leather CHP. He’s the only guy so far willing to take on the thick horsehide. Will be a bit before I get to it

Sorry for the late reply. The jacket was sold on another platform, and I forgot to update the thread. The issue with the zipper is that if you are not careful when zipping it up, it can separate.
