I finally have enough cash to buy this hat. However, I don't think it's worth it. It costs 23$ bucks for one, but it adds up due to taxes and shipping. The final cost is 46$ =(. The sweat band is made of faux leather and the lining is nylon. Would you guys still purchase this hat, or should I get a different hat with this type of money.

That's some really expensive tax and shipping. Look for a hat store that you can visit in person. Trying the hat on before you buy it is also a good idea to make sure you get the right size.

I have a Goorin brothers near me. It seems a bit to hipsterish. I might go there on the week ends to try a few of their hats on. Have any sub 100$ hats that I can try out?

Kangol hats are made in China

I've had them from both the last of the Made in England and the Made in China era.... No discernable difference in quality.

Fialsworth hats are 50% wool
So it boils down to Aegean hats which are made in Greece. They are 85% wool and 15% nylon (he red lining inside the hat). So I guess I'll purchase an Aegean from Amazon then =D.

They do look nice, I might look into it myself. Agreed, though, on the post - I wouldn't pay double price for one, that seems excessive. Maybe try Etsy or eBay?

Did. That was the cheapest place =(. On the weekend, I'm gonna try a few hats out at Goorin Brothers. Lots of hipster wool fedoras over there lol.

There should be something along these lines in a place like that - they're not an expensive hat, as a rule.

Yeah, that is true. I'm from Toronto where Spring and Fall averages around 10-20 degree Celsius. WhIle Winter's are around -10 to -20 degrees. I would buy a Ushanka, but it is to warm here to wear one everday. Maybe 7 times a year where I may need to stay warm lol. Covering ones ears from the cold is for wimps anyways. BTW, do newsboy caps provide much protection from the sun? Will it shield my eyes?
