Questionable suits and jackets

No, I tried it on once and then put it back in the box to return it. It was an entirely different shade of brown/black/red plaid, more of a burgundy than the tannish brown in the picture. Also, it was missing a button and had some noticeable moth holes that weren't photographed by the seller.

You're right, JFK's jacket is very similar in cut and style. And the buttons. Single vent, you think?

most probably...although you do see short double vents from time to time, correct me if I'm wrong.

It's called the button stance; a low stance will show more shirt and vise versa.

That's it. I'm never going to follow the don't-fasten-the-bottom-button "rule" ever again. If I leave the bottom button of a coat unfastened, it will not be because there's a fictional rule against it, but because I want to.

If Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart and JFK can do it, by golly so can I.
