Peters Bros. in Ft. Worth.
Same here. Have you tried recently?I heard they lost the skilled man behind the curtain and their quality tanked. It’s been a couple of years, so hopefully they’re back up. I do wish they would complete their website. I sent them a couple emails trying to order a hemp hat and never received a response.

The last time I dealt with them was a few years back when I sent them my black hemp for reshaping ($50.00). When I got it back I couldn't discern any difference at all, and they kept my VS hatbox and sent me a cheap one.No. I tried last spring, and now I feel like buying from them would be rewarding poor service.
Not your fault. It's been my experience that in most businesses, or really endeavors of any kind that I've seen up close, success always seems to depend on just one person who is dedicated, talented, and willing to do the necessary work. This is most obvious in public operations like restaurants, where one person (usually the owner) needs to keep a sharp eye on all aspects of the business, and is the reason that corporate restaurant chains are nearly always so second-rate.Admittedly, I was there about 13 yrs. ago, they were absolutely stellar then. The woman who owned it called me 2 weeks after I had my hat done to make sure that I was happy w/ the hat I had done there and the 2 hatters working there went above and beyond to steam in the dip and make sure the crown ribbon and edge wrap were perfect...I don't know what to say. This is news to me.....heartbreaking.
