I really want the suit Purvis is wearing when they shoot Dillinger.

Ivory colored textured stripes, love it!

Wonder where the studio got that material.

If it is textured stripes like you say, it is probally seersucker.

It actually looks like linen with silk pinstripes woven on.

I agree with Rat Pack, it does look like linen and it makes sense because its a summer scene that was being filmed, whether or not it is actually summer when the filmed it is another story.

When Dillinger was killed in July of 34 it was a very hot summer, I dont recall any pictures of Purvis that evening but I would imagine his suit along with the other would have been Linen or Searsucker. Which was veyr popular in the summer months.

Title explicitly calls out the movie. I guess I should have seen the movie actually, since my home in the US is in Crown Point.
