Thanks for liking my jacket If u are thinking about buying it, gotta be careful about size. I wear size 40 on real mccoy j-100, j-24 but this one I wear size 42 and feel like size 38.
This one I got it from jap auction site for 700 bucks, amazing shinki horsehide

Thanks for that link to the Western jacket. I really like that one. I can't even wear their size 42.

My collection is slightly different than some of the previous posters for three reasons: (1) before discovering the world of repro jackets, I patronized a “different” type of jacket; (2) I do not own any vintage jackets; and (3) my desert adjacent climate necessitates some lighter jackets. Rowing machine. As in wear it while you're rowing....ended up being a funny story when my wife saw me.

The best results I had Breaking one in was while shoveling snow. Heavy wet snow/sleet was falling and the jacket was soaked and heated from the exercise.

Seconded!!! These jackets flat out refuse to show any sign of wear! I've seen photos of well worn Vanson jackets and they're some of the nicest I've seen but my jackets won't budge! Can't even get creases to form.

I'll try the snow thing once we get some.
