Sovereign....

I picked up a Brown Sovereign on ebay a week or so ago, it came today.
It looks virtually unworn, the sweat and the liner are in perfect shape. The felt just needs a good steam and brush. It's a 6 7/8, but it fits snug. I don't know if I'm gonna give it a stretch or out it up on the Classifieds? [huh]

PS. Tom-n-Perris, your new Lid from Art is unbelievable, Art....you're Amazing.

"Bond,........Fedora Bond"

I just picked up a nice chocolate brown "Bond" fedora at a local swapmeet.
It's high crowned, rolled edge with a two inch brim and a two inch hat band, all in excellent condition with one minor problem; the sweat band is cracked and flaking at the edges only. Still totally wearable. Two big pluses was it was my size and it was only $5.00 !
"Bond" is embossed in the sweatband with the word "Fifteen" under it.
On the other side it says it's made of Beaver and "Hare" fur.
Googling "Bond" hats brought up zero so I'm throwing it to the forum; who,what, why, where and when is Bond???
All info much appreciated as always.
