It was the first thing that came to mind for me. Any idea what Tanagra is in the context of your hat?

What a cool all round haul, Bob. Some nice finds in the mix. This also included a pile of bow ties, neckties, scarves, gloves, etc. — even a silk tapestry— more in the appropriate threads.

I think I'm going to faint. Hat appreciation; isn't that illegal these days?
Nice haul Bob! That should keep you busy for a few daysI was finally in the same location as this pile of mystery hats and was able to unbox them. There were more in there than I thought ending up with 20 hats (those two far rows were separate and not included in this quick and dirty … or dusty … and poorly lit report).

Wow—hours of fun ahead of you there !
Love that one!Hückel Weilheim "Extra", 58 cm possibly mid 1950s. The Gray Smooth Finish Felt has a very Soft Hand and easily dry creases. Also a mid width Black Band with contrasting Gray Brim Binding. The "Extra" goes back to J. Hückel´s Söhne and here is a similar earlier example.
Both the early "Extra" and later "Extra" were also worn Brim Up.
