You wear the stingy brims well Bob. Looks great.

A beauty John. Very nice.

Modern Stetson Shangtung OR. Normally Shangtung hats are not my favorite straws, but I'm taking a trip next month and would love to not have to worry about my natural straw Panama OR getting squished. JJ had a sale and my impulsivity kicked in. I like it! Leather sweat with the OR imprint, the same nice leather that they've been using since the Deckard era. The venting is pretty nifty, though it is a bit wonky in places, but this is of course not a several-hundred-dollar master woven semi-Calado. For $100 it's pretty hard to complain. This one is 'version 2' apparently and has two different colored straws in the weave.

Looks good Jared. I like the venting and the pattern.

I like that Jonathan. Glad it's not my size. LOL

I like it a lot. I think this is the perfect application for shantung.

That’s a terrible hat! Absolutely horrible! I might be talked in to taking it off your hands, but you’ll owe me a big favor.

Thanks gents, and I agree, the venting should alleviate any Shangtung hot-ness, and there is something to be said for a water resistant 'straw' hat.

That's a beauuutiful hat. Too bad for me it's a 7 1/2, and even worse, too bad that Brent wants it.

Exceptional find, Bob! The heathered long hair finish is amazing and the band sets it off nicely. I've had a couple similar pass through my collection but neither fit right, so on to other heads they ended up. I really dig the style, though, so I'm always low key on the lookout for another

This one looks great, no matter what it's made of. I really like the venting and the two tone weave. I have a plain shantung OR, and am not particularly crazy about it, but this one looks good enough to tempt me into another one.

Thanks Scott and Dale (and everyone for the likes)! Gotta love a good $13 hat.

They could've just stamped my name right into this hatband. The Tatton Baird feels like it came off my conformer. Perfect fit. Arrived today from the ebay seller in the original hatters box. Very well made pure beaver. All seams, ribbon, and finishes appear top notch. I'm most happy with the soft, rich Coyote color & finish. Brim 2.75 / Crown creased to 5.25. The Country Gentlemen from Tatton Baird. 2 thumbs up for this OR clone.

Very nice indeed. I wonder where he gets the 3-cord ribbon? Any sign of a date when made?

If it was your size I'd be keeping it!

I think I still owe you one from that great Lee homburg I bought from you a while back.

I fully agree, Max. I desperately wish it was my size, but alas it belongs on a proper head.

Super hat Ken.
As soon as i saw it that color reminded me of a similar dark chocolate Nutria a fellow round here has. He says it’s one of his favorites. That’s a new brand to me and i really like it’s everything!

Thanks B. Likin' it so far. He's a hatter in Utah, hence the beehive liner.
