Post New Hats Here!

[Desert dog]

It looks to be in excellent shape. At that price, I think you got a killer deal. Not many Open Roads come around at that price.

Just picked up this vintage OR yesterday on Craigslist for only $30. Bought it from a really nice couple. The gentleman said it was his father’s. Condition is still great although it has a small pinhole on the brim which I’m not too concerned since this will be my knock around hat. Plan on taking it to my local hatter to clean and stretch it a little bit.

Those are both very nice color combinations. The finish looks great on both of them. I'm impressed with the Agnoulitas that you have shown!

Thanks. For the price they’re fun hats and the quick delivery time is great for those of us who hate waiting.

Now that's how you make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! I think the ribbon color and width were a perfect choice for that hat.

Been kind of out of touch for a couple of days. The wife has a broken arm and is kind of helpless. She took a fall at the wedding last weekend, and I finally forced her to go to urgent care on Thursday. Yes, two breaks in her radius at the wrist. Bummer due to us leaving for a week long cruise next Friday. So... catching up on the Holland Connection shipment that arrived mid week.

I'm late Mike but give your wife my wishes for a speedy recovery.

I saw a Milan straw of theirs on ebay that looked pretty good as well.

Came with a cattleman. Opened up and ironed flat, steamed and brushed waiting to be reshaped. I like these hats and have looked for another since finding my black one.
