This one is historically special. A Carlsbad velour by Snyder's Inc. in size 7 made specially for the 1929 Herbert Hoover presidential campaign. According to Heritage Auctions, this is most likely the only hat of its kind in existence.

Those stripper feathers should turn some heads.

Perhaps the other way.

Thank you Red. I feel the same. I'm partial to Hoover. I think his presidency is underrated.

Great start with this nice Resistol.

That hat band is all you. Classy. What were people thinking in the '70s?
Nice hat anyway.

We were thinking that the price of gasoline was getting to high!!

Great looking Resistol, it looks to be in exceptional condition.

Funny. I remember those days, although I wasn't driving bing yet. Do you think those...errr... artistic hatbands helped take minds off inflation?

I waited a long time to get this Bailey Tino. It was the first hat I ever ordered, but the original was too large. This replacement took weeks to get here (southern California to east coast. Huh?). Even going from a Large to a Medium, the hat is roomy. Not enough to require spacers, but for this 57-58cm head, it's still not snug. I love the color, though. Hey, it even matches my shirt!

It really is a nice color. The ribbon and feather add a good contrast. The rivets on the bow look cool too. It does blend well with your shirt

My Agnoulita arrived today.

I like that color combo.
