I am unsure to the age of this hat. The crown label reads "JOHN HOWARTH & CO". Hailing from London, the felt of this hat bears a stiffer feel, and only seems to take to a slight front pinch. Jet black felt, with a sun faded black band, this one is an interesting piece

c.1920s Stetson "Select Quality" Feather Weight Tuxedo Hat

This hat is very unique. Jet black, Fabric sweat, unique bow work, and the underside of the brim being covered in silk(?). The felt is extremely soft and malleable. The shops logo is bears the saying "Price Minimum, Quality Maximum". Take a look and enjoy.

This French hat feels to be made of wool. The bow reminds me of some older exampls that have come through my hands (20s), but I cannot be certain. The ribbon is lined with a decorative wind cord. The inside shows what looks like glue residue from a crown logo.

This is the second Stetsonian model to land in my collection, and I love this hat. It is extremely lightweight, and the felt creases with ease. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Resolut Homburger Hutfabrik "Stra?d ", 58cm, Crown Open 5 1/2 inches, Brim 2 3/4 inches, probably mid 1950s. This is my first Resolut Homburger Hutfabrik find. I saw a few in the Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Bad Homburg archives. Resolut Homburger Hutfabrik was in Köppern near by Homburg vor der Höhe (Bad Homburg). The felt is really great. It's of a heavier weight but easily dry creases. The form and construction are fantastic. Not sure what the fourth letter is in the quality type "Qual. Stra?d".
