Now, as seen it in another thread, in a color I've craved for years (No life, I know...)

The Stetson Satellite, found NEW from the mid-1950s. First time ever, I am having a hard time bringing myself to shape it. Never had a new vintage lid.

It's always a joy to post in this thread.

Wow, what an amazing find! I can understand you're reluctant to shape it, it's so pristine and has been sitting there like that for decades... Just think it was waiting there just for you to give it its proper shape

Nothing like moon's vita-felts, not even old, but I got another Selentino today.....a nice rich brown under welt. I really do like the felt on these...........wish the color was better represented in the picture.

Stupendous Ant! Nice color and ribbon contrast. That finish looks really something in the closeups.

Mayser "Spezial", 60cm, Crown Open 5 1/2 inches, Brim 2 3/4 inches, probably later 1950s. This hat is in super condition so probably seldom worn. The felt is fantastic and easily dry creases. Also looks great brim up or down.

That is REALLY NICE!!!!!! LOVE the ribbon treatment!!!! It does look to be worn very little!!! GREAT FIND!!!!! That is actually in my size too....Jealousy creeps in....
