Unfortunately it wasn't me Bob. And I say unfortunately because Daddy definitely needs some new cordovan boots and the powerball is the only way he'll get them. But at least I've got some hats, right?

Thanks, I agree. I'm not usually much of a western hat sort of guy, but I had this one on for a couple of hours while I was running around town on Saturday and it was growing on me. It's certainly photogenic.

Alois Pichler Wien, 60cm probably 1930s maybe 1940s. The paper label behind the sweatband has a Alois Pichler Wien mark but it could have been made by another company. The felt easily dry creases and has a very nice finish. Unique interior with white sweatband and liner.

Great hat Steve. I love those white sweats.

P. & C. Habig Wien, 60cm probably 1980s early 1990s. Could have been made by Mayser after they got the brand rights. This one was sent to me by mistake by a seller. Very nice felt for a later hat so I decided to keep it.

A Goodwill auction "get". Mallory Eagle. I'm guessing early 1960s? From Kleinhans of Buffalo, NY (as are so many). The last photo shows the correct color (dang my iPhone).

The liner is the same as my Eagle. With those dimensions, sure feels like early sixties. Like mine, there seems to be no mention of "Stetson" in the mix. I think this is a dating factor.
