Hit some local thrift stores while running errands. One store was having a promotional sale - pull a plastic egg out of a bowl and get the percentage discount placed in the egg. I pulled a 15% discount.

Resistol - $10.00, marked down to $8.50 with the discount.

And a cheap cotton flat cap for $12.00, down to $10.20 with the discount.

The pink ribbon in the back of the cap makes me think it's supposed to be for women, but it fits me and was in good shape so I bought it.

Edit: Oh my gosh! Just opened this thread on my laptop and was shocked at the size of the attached photos. Seems that Tapatalk doesn't size them down at all when posting from my phone. Gotta remember to try to make them smaller before uploading. My apologies, everyone.

Saw a Stetson 10x in silverbelly yesterday while thrifting. Was in nice shape, but the seller wanted $155 for it. Someone else will have to get that one. Another vendor had a recent production 4x beaver quality in my size, but I wasn't willing to pay $70 for it and the vendor was only willing to come down a couple of bucks for cash. Again, wanted it, but walked out without it. Figured a new one at Horsetown runs $110, so why pay more than half price for a used one even if it's in good shape.
