Post New Hats Here!

Thank you S. Tanto;
Always surprising how some overthink these things and want 1000 weaves when all that is necessary is a well made brisa.

Vic - Clear Beaver Perfection!

Moon - very nice. John's Indy hats are in a class of their own.

What a find, Vic; fantastic!

Congrats again on a fine lid, Moon!

Penman Raiders...

But...the brim...it's so...tidy. :suspicious:

[Frunobulax]

Vic, that's a great pick up. In case you were wondering, I'm a 7 1/4...

[RJR]

Love the Penman.

Feh...

Davis 6X ... I think 1950s... The felt feels exactly like my 40s Stratoliners.... Really pliable ... Super light and soft

Straight out of the box... Could use a brushing and shaping

Lock & co. for Brooks Brothers.

Maybe someone has a date guess on this one

Felt is a bit heavier
Beautifully built hat.
Nice wide sweat not sewn in back .
Came in the original Brooks Brothers box with original sales receipt.

Moon;
Congrats on the new hats esp the Penman, i'd not be brave to wear the Dr. Jones in brown but you pull it off.
you and maybe myself are overdosing

[RJR]

Nice catches,Moon.

[Frunobulax]

Good pick ups, Moon. Can't say I've heard/of Davis.

Edit: OK just read the Davis thread. Now I know more

Davis is very nice. Brooks Bros. 1960-ish. I had one once too - finished nicely in the older tradition but very stiff, ponderous felt.
