That's right. The liners and sweatbands can tell us they're either '50s or '60s, but the different factory labels are more specific and reliable dating tools.

His wife cried when they came to visit my home she never had full use of the house
due to hat boxes every where stacked to the celings in every room even the Kitchen.
he has a vintage appointment only shop full of hats too.
So my wife then leaves me alone & asks for a pair of shoes !!!

Had some smudges in the crown as well as a loose sweat so I took it apart to properly clean it.

GO, JOE!! Great hat at a really great price. Hard to be sure from the photos (I was watching this one) but it appears to be leghorn weave done in the mid-to-late fifties. As always, maybe a more expert set of eyes can confirm or clarify this....
