Nice hat, Manfred. I have looked for a Homburg to convert for a while now, but have come up empty. I don't look as good in them as you do.

Vintage Borsalino

vintage Borsalino found at the Portland Expo. Nothing super fancy but it sports that great thin and tight vintage borsalino felt. The inside was in great shape, but it was super wrinkled and dirty but Mike Miller of Northwest hats cleaned it up, took out the wrinkles and I had him put a new ribbon on it for a little variety from my other borsys.

One of the FL members Cane Rod Maker, just starting hatting and I commissioned a hat with him, I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! It's modeled after a vintage Stetsonian he has, and the ribbon is vintage also. Even more of a plus, Cane has a large noggin like me so he "gets" big heads.

Wow, Pete, sweet hat, Cane really did a nice job on that bad boy.

Hey Che, that's a sweet hat you stumbled onto, too bad for you it won't fit, but MOCO is making out like a bandit in that deal.

Fascinating weave on the Malrov Robert. Never heard of one but very kool hat, is it Russian? Can't quite read the labels.

Che, Love the C&K, fantastic color and the brim stitches are killer. MOCO is a lucky boy. Who ended up with the pacifier? :)

Here's a real oddball. Manfred found this at a flea-market and posted some pix of it. I asked him if he wanted to sell it and he obliged making me an offer I couldn't refuse. Thank you Manfred! It's a German Mayser "Favorit", also says "Pierre" on the sweat. Not really sure what to call this hat but I like it.

Pretty bronze liner

Seriously, does anybody know what style this hat is called? Steve posted this very similar Barbisio in the "SUYVS" thread

Mike, Here is a similar style 1960s Barbisio Rimini of mine.
