This one was actually sent from within the USA. Seems to be a Beaver felt in extraordinary condition for its age.
Now you need to get a grey sharkskin suit made to go with that one!! Though I'm not a big fan of Milans or pork-pies, I always liked how they looked on old blue eyes ! NICE, NICE hat Alan !!
and as always, Onward thru the Fog![]()

Nifty looking bowler there Robert. You know I was wondering who you reminded me of because you looked familiar. Then when watching the movie 2010 this morning it hit me, Latvian actor Elya Baskin, but with darker hair.Any relation?

Hmmm!I live in Latvia, but didnt hear about that actor.![]()
That liner shot look almost exactly like my lone Resistol fedora in my little collection.[/IMG]![]()
I believe the liner starts early/mid 50's and lasts into 60's. The hat is probably mid 50's beginning of brim reduction(just under 2-3/8").
That looks like a John Forsythe hat, for those who can remember his show of the 1950s or 1960s (not Charlie's Angels).

I'm drooling over this velour but struggling to steam out the line made from telescoping the crown to fit the shorter box. Condition is amazing.
Bachelor Father? I certainly don't remember the show. I DO remember Charlie's Angels!
