[emoji4]Thanks, Steve. I find that I can't let a good hat go to waste, even though I promised myself (and my wife!) not to buy any more.

T&W Lees in the colour "wolf" (love it already). Size 57 with the bound brim at 6cm and crown 10cm at the center dent. Fantastic hand to the felt and this is het brand at the top of their game. First time I've seen a label like this on one of their hats. The company was founded somewhere around 1875, so that places the hat in the late forties, maybe very early fifties.
Hello Fellow Hat People,
I got this Dobbs Cross Country from Dinerman on Monday and took it on its maiden voyage yesterday . My new light weight hiking hat! View attachment 193285

Glad you like my diamond , Brent. These un-linered '40s felt hats are real pleasure to crease! How about a photo of the crease. The genuine 40Cal diamond is a thing of beauty!

Thank you , Bob.Forget matchsticks ... that crease could be trademarked!
Although that Bowler has seen better days, it was still worth picking up, Bob. One can just imagine how magnificent it once looked. A great piece of local history, too. Nice find.Picked this up just for the local connection. Most likely made by The Springfield Hat Company (Mr. Kintrea was Sec./Treasurer at one point).

Thanks, Randy. If you can find one, buy it! T&W Lees in their heyday made truly excellent hats.An excellent day of hats, Stefan! The Lee's my favorite today,

Yes, it is always fun to find a hat with some local or regional history. Great hat, hope it can be refurb'd if that is the direction you want to go.
Thanks, Joe. Their hats are among the best English hats made.Quite a beauty
