I’ll take some better outdoor shots before putting it in the club thread

I wear a size 7-1/2 so I ordered a size L. I think it fits well. It has a cloth sweatband and the brim is 2-7/16" wide.

For $7.99 and free shipping, I'm very satisfied (I see the price has since risen to $19.97). The original price was $89.50.

I've learned (and relearned) that somethings should not be bought at JoS A Banks regardless of the price. Somethings are safe. Personally, I wouldn't buy a suit from them, but ties are fine if you find one you like. I also would never buy anything from them unless it is at least 60-70% off which happens all the time. Hats from them are a new proposition for me. For a Toyo "straw" I'm not expecting much so I probably won't be disappointed. Still, I'd rather have paid $8 like you did so I could think of it as a completely disposable item. Thanks again for the tip.

Tagged a 7, fits like a 7 1/8. Has an unreeded sweat. Raw edge brim. Hat is flawless minus the faded liner and side tag that broke off behind the sweatband. I'm thinking 40s timeframe?

I might guess earlier ... 30s ?

I know Kohlbecks was started by Frank Kohlbeck in 1876
Pretty sure it closed in 1999 when his great granddaughter and her husband retired

possibly a Templeform by Stylepark?...can you make out any of the text on the tip?

Very cool hat brother

I was tempted on 30s, with the unreeded treatment, but the stitched sweat seam had me confused. maybe late 30s, and not sure on templeform. only legible mark is stylepark :(
