Scott - my great uncle was Al Werner and I just located that you purchased his hat which I had been trying to track down for my cousin - his grand daughter . Any chance you would consider selling it to me?Here are the Mize, Moncrief and Werner Dobbs 50's. The ribbon on the Mize hat is the same color as my new one. The Moncrief ribbon was more of a copper color. I like the new one more, as it gives it more of an OR look.

That liner is something special. Wow! I'd buy that just for the liner.I found another Knox Flying Cloud at a flea market today. It's too little, but the lady was a very motivated seller, so I ended up with it. It has an interesting little pin on the ribbon bow that would seem to be original to the hat, but my other one doesn't have this. Any insight from Knox aficionados?
Edit: This one also has a felted edge, whereas my other does not. I think this one is a good bit older.
