Boy, you ain't kiddin'. Dan Blocker was 6'4", and weighed approximately 300 lbs.. Several years ago my wife and I paid a visit to Old Tucson studios in Arizona, and they had one of the shirts on display that Mr. Blocker wore on Bonanza--it looked like a tablecloth.Imagine Hoss' Hat on Lil Joe ... except maybe more HUGE ...
Nice!Third Stagecoach, first to still have the pin attatched. Needs some shaping and some light sanding on a few bites, but I'm glad to have it.

From what I've read, many people described him as "a gentle giant"....Dan Blocker could have been a Blocker (Right Tackle) , but I heard he was Super Kind .
Janyška "Vlasto", 59cm, NOS condition, probably mid 1940s to later 1940s. The felt easily dry creases and the hat has a very nice overall form. This one is from my May 2016 Czech find.
Having just "bagged" two more on the 'bay and waiting for them to arrive...One Dunlap and a Stephen L. Stetson, In addition, I have an ancient Stetson "Setsonian" (Tawny), a Black Stetson Saxon along with my two Stetson Cowboy hats....One Black Rancher and one Chocolate Merced.
If anyone has any comments or can help me better "date" any of the hats above, please don't be shy...This is how we learn....Thanks everyone for your help and support !
Is that better than Moon Unit ?
