Just received my third custom made Fedora from Timothy Bender. Blue Steel, beaver fur. Offset brim (3" front and back, 2-1/2" on the sides). Crown is 4-5/8" in front wth a nice tight pinch. 5" on the back. Lining is a beautiful scarlet red silk.

My new Akubra "Bogart" in carbon grey from Hats Direct came in the mail yesterday.

I might change out the ribbon for something like a burgundy or an aubergine, just something to give a bit more flash.

Yes Fruno, the Racine is a true fit like the Excellent Strat. The Premier Strats were a tad large out of the box, but tighten up after wearing them for awhile. Racine is good out of the box.

I am absolutely loving this Open Road I just received today

hard for me to tell if it is '40s or '50s ... it is definitely no later than '50s.... if anyone can recognize it would be appreciated

I have no idea if this is the box it came in ... but this is the box I got it in

you cannot tell by the pics but the hat is a gorgeous shade of olive green and in just beautiful shape inside and out

I have not had a chance to give it a good brushing and apply a quality bash ... but this thing is so damn comfortable ... it feels like it was made custom for my head.... I'm in love... can you tell ?

Very nice, Moon! the leaf in the logo probably means it's more likely 50's than 40's. Doesn't matter it is a sweet hat! Unique color and great box too!

Moon, the OR is a super looking hat. One of my favorite styles.

Love the colour.

Thanks TD. The Racine is on my list. I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of a Stetsonian I ordered awhile back from Jeff. He off-handedly mentioned they had been running a little big, and I keep wondering "how little" this big is.
