Leinen-Peuch Hatter, Paris Homburg

Had a renovation many decades ago with sweatband replacement(nearly 2-1/4") so less info than desirable. A light Homburg. 1 of 3 hats for $30 or less in the last couple of weeks so gambled and it does fit.

Pre-WWI Peschel Velour.

This one was being refurbished by Mr. Fawcett (new sweatband, and ribbon)! What amazing work! This is also my first velour, and I am hooked! I must say many thanks to Rlk!

Just arrived as the sun fades away. The Post Office didn't crush this one. They must feel obligated to kick packages from France.[huh]

A pretty modern gray Fur Felt 5X from Beaver Hats. Original price inside is $50 so I think this is not old at all.

The black Dobbs on the other hand is old. It is in excellent shape and I'm happy with its classic proportions.
Popped out. The felt is dense and soft. I wonder if it is faded or not the richest black I've seen.

Inside looks great.

Tags and price says it was originally $16. Pretty reasonable or pretty vintage.

I'm very tempted to steam a pinch onto this hat but it would be nice to have the original look...which, judging by the red logo on the liner, is mid to late '60s.

1950's Dobbs Westward. A little stained and moth eaten but it'll make a nice "knockabout" hat.

Found this envelope/playbill thing behind the sweatband.
