Please id Goat Horse or cow? Averix G1 on eBay

This G1 is going well on eBay - does anyone know what leather it's made from?

I don't think there is a reliable way to tell whether its horse of cow by looking at photos. But given that its an Avirex, and given that it should be neither horse nor cow, I would say its cow.

I'm not sure that makes sense, but it sounded good in my head when I thought it.

I believe that Avirex has made 'em in lambskin too, especially the off-spec ones with the absurd things printed in the linings.

Yes, without knowing whether they ever made jackets in goat, it doesn't appear to be the type of grain that's typical with goat.

The current version is made from lamb skin according to a couple of Japanese web sites I found but this one goes look a bit tougher than Nappa

I went looking for Goat, Horse, Cow and didn't see that. Lamb I would say.
