It's an older ELC RW 1401 A-2 made from russet goatskin. The zipper is a repro but the slider is vintage. This A-2 could be from the original series of limited-edition RW 1401 A-2's we offered up until fall '97. If you look inside the sleeve lining, most likely on the right sleeve, there may be a number inked on the sleeve in black indelible marker around the elbow area or so. The jacket appears to be numbered in the 200's (out of 350) and it's a size 44 Short.

what real price ?? plus minus

Hello, Kowalski!

Wow, that brings back memories!!! Somewhere deep in our dusty archives I could find the buyer's name and date of purchase, but that could take days I don't have to spare right now. I think this was purchased in 1996, but it could be 1997.

I have no idea of the value of this item. A fair guess would be 50% of the cost of a new jacket. I think this A-2 would have sold for about $500-$575.00 in the 1990's, so it should still be worth about that since a new jacket is about double that price.

Good luck!
