I make hairbows for my daughter, and flower/feather clips for myself. The trick with silk flowers that aren't flat is to pluck the flower from the stem and snip off the green base. Be sure not to cut into the petal. You disassemble the flower and begin glueing it to your barrette/clip layer by layer. For the daisy, trim the end of the center piece off so that it will lay flat against the petals. For those of you who are better visual learners, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube.
