I accidently found a page of the French ministry of culture that hosts thousands of photos, e.g. of every day life in and around Paris.
They're not too big and not all in focus, but very natural / drawn from life - I really enjoyed looking at many of the pictures.
It has mostly pics of places, but also many showing people.

I believe the majority of the pictures to be from the 20s - 40s, but I didn't find any date. If anyone of you knows more, please tell.
