I like that a lot. Those sorts of pockets are very rare, but extremely accessible. (Especially comparing to my Schott 618 - pockets on that are so far back that unless I'm wearing it zipped up I can't get near 'em while I'm in it!) I'd be curious to see a version with two D pockets facing each other like that. 'The Double D' - even a readymade name for it!

I’ve come to the realization that all cross-zips need to have an attachable fuzzy collar. It really adds class!

I definitely want to pick one up for my Schott for the Johnny Thunders vibe... I'm often tempted by the idea of a bike jacket with a permanent one, and a Winter liner. A black leather alternative to the B3 / Irvin.... I do have an Aero Thunder Bay on my wants list. Maybe for winter 21/22...

Likely intended to hold nothing larger than a packet of cigarettes.
Reproductions today should alter that pocket a bit to accommodate something the size of a smartphone...

I love the look of the small pocket; I tend to use mine for my mp3 player for which they are just right, but certainly they are often too small for a current phone. I'm thinking for my next halfbelt I might ask Aero if they would be open to putting on a chest pocket the same as the much deeper, longer one on the breast of my Bootlegger. Makes an inner pocket less of a necessity.

This may be posted in the Thurston thread if so I apologize, I just came across this on Thurstons social media and came right here to post it.

As we’ve seen Thurston has been using their Bainbridge leather and I have to say the depth of colors and marbling on some of them has been amazing. This is “Abyss Blue.” And it may just be one of the best if not best “blues” I’ve ever seen. This is a drool worthy blue to me. May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but damn this beats the dark/midnight blues I’ve seen out of Aero/Horween and LW.
