It was a cool jacket, didn't realise it was from Levi's.

A rare late-1920s Harley Davidson horsehide jacket. One of the first they produced.

I had keen interest in this one and planned on giving it a good overall dressing with Pecards. Sadly, the bidding went far beyond my meager budget.

Does anyone make a modern repro of this jacket?

To anyone who's seen the new Captain Marvel flick...

While Brie Larson's USAF flight jacket is clearly an A-2, I believe the jacket worn by Annette Bening is the current Cockpit Amelia Earhart model. That seems a weird choice for a military-adjacent scientist in 1995, but it does look good.

Anybody know for sure?

I am conservative when it comes to leather. I really don't like jackets with d pockets, angled zips, flaps, lots of snaps and all that gaudy stuff.

Here's my idea of a great look - elegant, understated, nicely worn, trim fit - all around winner. It's one of our fellow loungers, is it Technovox? I apologize if I got that wrong.
