Elk hide makes for excellent work gloves - very pliable, allows for decent dexterity, but super tough. I imagine it'd make a great jacket material.

This is by far the greatest jacket I will never own!

Jut don´t trust Langlitz (or myself) to get the sizing right and cannot be bothered to ship the jacket back-and-forth over the pond and go through the customs nightmare each and every time...

Repro Talon zipps. Looks well built. Made in Portugal. Interesting since their previous leather jackets were made in Greece. €599

Too bad the cowleather looks rather flat and uninteresting.

They offer it in black and in brown but they only show the backside for the black one.

Why? You nailed the fit on your Imperial and quite a few of your other jackets. I would imagine that knowing your measurements isn’t the issue

Yes, I know the measurements of the jackets that fit me best. It´s just: I have heard so many stories of Langlitz sizing being hit-and-miss, I am just not prepared to go down that road myself.
