This week's highlight is a 15 minute mix of unusual instruments in broadcast popular music. We hear a Hammond B3 from WJSV Washington in 1939, a Steinway grand (not so unusual) for a cheese company in 1948, celeste and harpsichord on a swing record from Berlin in 1941, and moody oboe, bell and theremin to close an episode of Suspence from 1946.
