As an update, the Johnson Custom loafer I bought have so far proven fantastic, with heavy wear over the last month. I think I'll be back for more.... Hopefully a brown pair before the Summer is out...
Check out The Twinwood Festival, ( https://twinwoodevents.com/ ) it's a four day event not too different from The Goodwood Revival. The weekend tickets are probably sold out but you can get day tickets and there's a fast train service to Bedford from St. Pancras. Colin will have his whole range there, and you will get to meet the lovely Sarah, she's the business brain. So glad you like your new shoes.

I've been meaqning to give that a go for a daytrip for some time.... I'll have to see if I can interest Herself.

I love the idea of penny loafers but I can't wear them. They don't really stay on my feet. I think it's because the top part (the Vamp?) doesn't cover the needed amount of my foot for it to be secure when walking. I do think penny loafers look good on others.

I really think women in penny loafers are so cute! My wife doesn't so my daughters go without. :-(
