Does anyone know where I can get another one of these Pelikan Foutain Pen Lapel Pins?

I have one, and one of my friends wants one. I haven't been able to find one. Thanks,

That is a superb lapel pin, one of the most attractive I've seen actually; I can see why your friend wants one.

I haven't got too much advice I'm afarid apart from continuing to check on eBay and thrift stores etc. Given it's size and weight, I would say it's worth checking the international eBays too. The German one seems an obvious choice.

I did find this: http://www.pelikanpens.co.uk/ which seems like an interesting resource in general.

Pelikan Sales Ephemera is fairly rare to find.

You might see if there are any Pelikan Pen Appreciation Societies (Clubs) out there.

Also go to the various Fountain Pen Web sites, like the fountain pen network and post enquiries there.

Ebay and the Germany Ebay is a good idea.

 I don't know if it's a Pelikan or not (were they marked in any way?), but I have a fountain pen tie bar. I think it's sterling. It's "fatter" as far as width vs length. I'd post pix, but it's 1,200 mi away at the moment.

A Pelikan pen has the distinctive clip that looks like the face of a Pelican; eyes up top, beak curling down.

There is NO QUESTION it's a Pelikan. It has the eyes and the beak clip and the lines on the body, and the right nib. the top of the cap is Pelikan. And to top it off, it came with my Pelikan S-800 when I bought it about 12 or 15 years ago. So there's no question it's Pelikan.

I have been watching e-bay etc, and it's tough. I have contacted some fountain pen societies/collectors etc, and others have seen them, but not for several years.

Thanks, and please keep your eyes open.

Also, if you look closely, you can see the circle on the nib, that is gold on the platinum, that has the Pelikan in it.
