Painted Avirex A-2 Flight Jacket "Two Dollar Pistol" 487th Fighter Squadron

Just completed this one. Getting better with each of these that I paint and thoroughly enjoying the process. Got this nice Avirex off Marketplace. Painted it to represent a fighter pilot with the 487th Fighter Squadron of the 357th Fighter Group flying "Two Dollar Pistol". Probably a P-51. Having flown 32 missions and achieving four air to air kills.

All hand painted artwork. Hand painted squadron patch and 8th AF shoulder patch.
