Interestingly, if I search for this thread on Google, I still find it under the full name. It's only when you get here you find it censored.

I'm not a programmer myself, but to the best of my understanding the block featured is limited to what we see here, yes. Given that it has retrospectively impacted all pre-existing threads on here as well like his one, I'm hopeful that means we can sort it out and everything will go back to as it should be. Frankly, I'd be just fine if it nixed out the cuss words we've long discouraged round here, but the fact that it can't distinguish between that and where those sequences of letters turn up "innocently" within other words, or contexts. It's also ridiculously overbroad, in some ways in a manner which feels very politically angled. The sooner we tame it the better.

Im so glad Im a RETIRED IT guy...... things in the IT-world were getting weird 15 yrs ago... I can only Imagine what its like these days. Things always worked fine until some goofball tried to update and improve them just because they could .... Myself... I was always a " if it aint broke dont fix it" type

Look forward to the current round of silliness to get remedied ( although it DOES have an element of humor and entertainment value)

I just received this Playbo* yesterday. I think it is one of the most beautiful hats I've ever owned. It is a wonderful light grey color. It has a 2 3/4 brim and a unique liner. It's just a hair on the large side.
