Mind you, this was all under oath.
Basically, this congressional committee (not just an isolated member of Congress) believes that the military is hiding something. Congress is herewith announcing its intention to implement its oversight responsibilities.
The hearing goes into some (if true) historic and earthshaking territory. Exhibit A:

Under oath, hearing witness David Grusch said he can supply the names of people who actually work within secret UAP back-engineering projects. Congress is now seeking subpoena power to follow up on this.

https://www.federaltimes.com/news/y...lect-committee-after-whistleblower-testimony/

In related news: it did not take long for the pentagon —-or at least AARO director, Sean Kirkpatrick— to fire back angrily, saying he found the hearing “insulting” and that he never spoke with Grusch about this. Grusch specifically said under oath that he had briefed Kirkpatrick. Which one of them is lying? Or misremembering? Given how carefully Grusch is proceeding (carefully following whistleblower procedures), it wouldn’t surprise me if Grusch has documentation. We shall see.

The latest titillating developments:

Just a few days after the eye-opening July 26th hearing, Ken Klippenstein wrote an axe-job piece for The Intercept, writing that David Grusch has mental health issues and should not be taken seriously when talking about secret government reverse engineering programs and crash recoveries.

https://theintercept.com/2023/08/09/ufo-david-grusch-clearance/

It turns out that Mr Grusch’s “mental health” issue was Treatment for PTSD related to his service in Afghanistan. Grusch’s defenders claim that Grusch’s health records were leaked to discredit him and diminish his claims about secret UFO recovery programs. In other words, Grusch is crazy.

Whatever the case Grusch did indeed get to keep his TS/SCI clearance and continued to work in an intelligence capacity.

Now it turns out that the guy who wrote the hit piece… Well, his father, Stephen Klippenstein, is a high ranking physicist at the U.S. Dept of Energy’s Argonne Labs; precisely the kind of place that might be involved in reverse engineering efforts. And Klippenstein Sr is working on interstellar stuff.

https://www.anl.gov/profile/stephen-j-klippenstein

Yikes! What to make of all this? On the one hand, it is a conspiracy theorist’s dream come true. (Yet it appears to be true.) On the other hand, if the Intercept article is part of a conspiracy to discredit Grusch, it seems it is being run by a bunch of block-heads. I mean, who could think that the Klippenstein father/son relationship wouldn’t be quickly discovered? It is like badly written TV.

I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The evident truth inherent said material coupled to public disclose cannot be denied. All young turks are understandably impatient with delays but this kettle is atop stove and red hot. Time will keep its own measure sure.

^^^^. Interesting. I’ll have to watch that later …as in: when I’m not surrounded by people who think all this stuff is CRAZY. Off the bat —without having seen the video— the picture looks a little too good to be true. Looking forward to hearing the source!

Been a while since I’ve watched but I believe this video was captured by an amateur on a downlink from the ISS to NASA.

The Black Knight as been photographed off & on over a very long time. What makes it most interesting is that it is on a polar orbit & not a domestic equatorial orbit.

Update:

As you’ll recall, on July 26th their was a congressional hearing in which former intelligence officer (with the former rank of major) David Grusch doubled-down on his allegation that the U.S. government is in possession of several (!!) crashed UFOs and is attempting to reverse engineer them. When asked for specifics, Mr Grusch said he couldn’t give details because the terms of his whistleblower protections prohibited him from discussing things that are stamped ”top secret”. Mr Grusch said he’d be eager to brief members of congress in a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility.)

After the hearing, Representatives Burkett and Luna said they would get a SCIF for such a conversation and that they also wanted to establish a Select Committee that can subpoena other individuals regarding Mr Grusch’s whistleblower allegations.

Three months have gone by. The creation of a Select Committee has been denied. However, after encountering several roadblocks, the SCIF has been made available. Two SCIF hearings will be held before Christmas 2023 and possibly within the next few weeks. Several have said that, after these meetings, it will become harder to hinder the creation of a Select Committee.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawmakers-expect-to-get-classified-briefings-on-ufos

Also, in recent weeks, one additional ex-gov insider has stepped forward to support at least part of Grusch’s claims. His credentials are undeniable, but some wonder about his credibility. That is for you to judge.

https://www.liberationtimes.com/hom...nt-possesses-advanced-craft-of-unknown-origin

There are also RUMORS of additional whistleblowers waiting in the wings.

So, after a few months of silence, things are getting interesting again. The claims are pretty mind-blowing, yet with everything else that’s going on, they are getting little press time.

Here is a fun one. A few days ago, hundreds of people in Switzerland saw a huge UFO hovering in the night sky. See the noteworthy photo in the story linked below. Be sure to watch the video too… in which you can see it spinning. It’s a difficult one to explain away. That is, unless it’s a fake video. But, per the story, there were multiple witnesses. No idea. Fake news? Wikipedia describes the Daily Express as a middle market newspaper printed in Tabloid format. Do they knowingly print fake news? Again, no idea. Maybe some of you Brits can jump in.

In broadsheet, under the ownership of Lord Beaverbrook, the Daily Express rose to become the newspaper with the largest circulation in the world, going from 2 million in the 1930's to 4 million in the 1940's. It was acquired by pornographer Richard Desmond's company Northern & Shell in 2000. Soon after the acquisition the newspaper became a tabloid and became something of a gutter rag. It's now owned by Trinity Mirror Group under the trading name: "Reach." The Daily Express still has a tarnished reputation.

Journalism cast objectivity aside but still the Financial Times, Sunday Times, and Wall Street Journal religiously.
Occasional looks American with available firm New York Times or a Washington Post, LA Times layabouts.

^ Well we'll see how it goes.

Not well, as it turns out. First news report on the topic… Problem #1: despite the SCIF, mere Members of Congress do not have the necessary TS/SCI Codeword “nosebleed” clearances to hear this stuff, and problem #2: everything is so stove-piped that we ourselves (in the DOD) don’t know what’s going on.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/gop-...t-committee-request-with-speaker-mike-johnson

Kind of defeats the purpose of democracy, eh? Suggestion: cut off their funding and they will start to talk soon enough.

The November 16th SCIF meeting with the Intelligence Community IG might (???) be more helpful, but maybe not.
