Drove down to Boston yesterday afternoon from VT and was enjoying a lobster roll with the family and was trying not to be on my phone while an auction was ending and logged back in to see that the winning bidder edged me out by $5 for a 7x clear Beaver from the early 50s. Wasn't my size but went for only $120 and I was hoping to handle one of those before maybe making a little profit to fund other acquisitions. C'est la vie as they say. Someone got a steal!
The pool we're building is just about to get plastered and we actually will need some lol! But I'm sure the shipping is more than they cost at target or wherever.

Sigh… probably too tight - but very tempting - thank you for bringing this to my attention.
This came up on a auction/selling site here yesterday. It is like a who's who of German hat making. Peschel, Mayser, Resolut, Kohlndorfer and what not. Mostly small size though. Of the 26 hats only nine were size 56 and larger. Bought three of them. But just for fun. Enjoy the few posts it needs.

I am happy the seller had hats in your size though, but yes i was wishing he had 58/59.
Seller is from Germany and had no problem shipping to the Netherlands, so that would be a yes.

While I frequent Vinted, even at Vinted.nl I am not allowed to contact the seller and as a US buyer it shows he doesn't sell items to US. Rats!
Seller mailed me yesterday that he would be on holiday starting from the end of today. It may have something to do with that (hopefully).
