You don't crease your own hats?
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
I do, so, since my right leg is longer than the left, I would need to walk around to the back of the hat to get this crease right...

Actually, I quoted the wrong post. I meant to reply to Max's.I do, so, since my right leg is longer than the left, I would need to walk around to the back of the hat to get this crease right...

Max, does Ignacio crease most of your hats?

You mean I guilt you and make a killer brisket? You’re getting like my mother, Jim...
Only the ones I have to take to him anyway, to get cleaned and conformed. He returns them to me creased, and I don't mess with them after that. Why would I?Actually, I quoted the wrong post. I meant to reply to Max's.

A Brisket?!!
We’re getting off track here, but when a nurse arrives, she brings a nurse’s kit; when a doctor arrives, he brings a doctor’s kit. So, what does a mohel bring?
A briskit.
That Slant model with the slant blocked into the crown refers to a Stetson. The Portis version of the slant I was always under the impression referred to the slant of the brim angle, not the crown. I cant find any vintage Portis ads to confirm this but every Portis Slant I've seen on the lounge has a normal crown and on that green one, in person, something about the brim is just a bit "off" which led me to believe it was slanted or angled differently.Looks like another previous owner who didn't know what he had... The crown blocking on the "Slants" were distinctly tipped (slanted) down lower on the left. Somebody didn't know it was a "thing," and straightened it out. Too bad, as the ads said, "The nonchallance is blocked in."

Nice additions, max. The shape of that Resistol is fantastic.Look at that beauty!
The hat isn't bad, either. The mannequin wasn't for sale, darn it.
Resistol. Alan says it's 1940-50.
I just love the crown height (5.5 inches) and the brim width (2.75).
It has a couple of stains I am pretty confident Ignacio can remove, even if he has to do it with scissors. [emoji2]

Wow, that is something else, Brent. Looks beautiful. Maybe the brim will straighten itself out with some steaming.Borsalino Serikon
Not sure what I’m going to do with the brim. Excuse the poor quality photos provided by the seller.

David lives in the Worth of Forts and posts under those initials. He and DOGMAN are the only Loungers I've actually met.Just bought this Gannon from the Classifieds. Does anyone know who DJH is?
I have wanted a Gannon for a while, but was too lazy to call and order one. Besides, I didn't want to wait for it.
If it doesn't mold to my custom band blocks, I will have a Michael Gannon/Ignacio Reyes hybrid! [emoji2]

It just occurred to me. Why haven't you commissioned Ignacio to make you a hat? Does he do customs?Just bought this Gannon from the Classifieds. Does anyone know who DJH is?

The trade with @moontheloon was cancelled after he was told by FedEx that shipping to Mexico City would be about $180 dollars...Hmmm @drmaxtejeda
I think it only fair that Max send some hats north; I’d be interested in an Ignacio custom. I vote for 100% beaver from FEPSA. What say ye, good Doctor?
