Did one of you win this Stetson 100? I bid as high as was comfortable, due to what looked like a hole just above the ribbon, and the description of "2 preset holes in the band for accessories." Wha?

Yes, maybe so. The word "band" made me wonder, though. The case is missing the plastic inserts, and it sounds like the whole shebang has a powerful mildewy smell. I guess $168 is about right.

Got it for $28.00, plus $7.00 shipping. A Whippet for under thirty-five bucks! Now, as to the size...

Not a deal like Mr. Lucky's, but I took a chance on this Stetson straw from Etsy. The seller claims it's "new and never worn." I plan to steam away the taco-shell, take the "new west" look out of the crown, and maybe replace the band.

Based on the seller's assertion, "Hat is in very good condition for its age!", I'd say this is a 378-year-old hat.

Posting active auctions is not that unusual. A lot of people aren't aware of some of the other places like Goodwill.
