This was a new brand to me. At my request, the seller found the size label under the sweatband. I knew it was a 1:1000 chance it would be my size, but I had to ask. Anyone looking for a topper?

Just bought this today. 1940s Larry Cunningham. Richie's brother, maybe?
Never saw this brand before. Maybe Anthony Amodeo, Alan Friedman, or someone else has?

Love the hat!

Edited to include trademark info.

I think we associate the liner fold on the right rather than at the top with the earliest models. In my opinion you can safely say it is probably a ‘48 hat, ‘50 at the latest.

As mentioned below and on other threads, the Stetson application for a trademark on the last drop liner states the earliest use in hats as 1948.

Later models often have the fold in the top center of the liner (changed over some time in the 40s) an oilskin liner protector (~‘48-52), followed by plastic (‘52+).

None of these rules are perfect, as there was plenty of overlap in dates, etc.

Maybe someone has more specifics?

Daniel

Last Drop Trademark, the search results expire but you can search for “Stetson” on the site. From the roughly 157 results, the headgear last drop trademark under the word mark “Stetson” is #1132246
