Thanks, Stefan. I know that Borsalinos tend to run small, but I’m holding out a hope that this US marketed 7 1/2 is on the large side. I’m an eternal optimist.

Doc, although there was overlap in label use, the United Hatters union label indicates the hat is post-‘34 union consolidation and because the printer’s label “bug” mark is parallel and not slanted it is probably a pre-50s hat.
