I bought this beauty from Terry a couple years ago. It's a beautiful jacket, I love it, but I've worn it all of one time. I just like my flight jackets too much, I suppose.
As most people reading this post will know, Monarch was a legendary manufacturer of leather jackets during the mid-20th century, and they frequently sold jackets to department stores and made flight jackets for both the Air Force and Navy. The jacket is made of a heavy horsehide - this isn't your typical A-2 leather! - but it's still very wearable and supple. This leather has developed some wonderful character over the years.
pit-to-pit: 23.5"
shoulders: 19"
back: 28"
sleeves: 25.5"
Asking price: $450 shipped in CONUS, paypal friends & family.
