It looks pretty slick. You get to see a lot of their fedora styles (one of their strongest points is the sheer amount of styles they can make... Graham can make pretty much any hat you can imagine).

In other news, the new felts are in for this year. Lots of nutria blends, and even more pure beavers. Some of the nicest ones are "clear" belly beaver, like my Toffee.

I just spoke to Marlene and she said that even though they have received the new felts for the fall they will not release the colors until September. Graham is going to try to have them posted on the Website so everyone can see them.

(Wait!... Before I get the bum's rush... I'm not saying they aren't worth every penny, I'm simply lamenting that I can't justify spending that kind of money on a hat. I can't justify it to Mrs. Photobyalan, anyway... )

WOW - The beauty of those babies on the website is incredible. And the site is understated and elegant - just the right tone. I had to resist the impulse to order, but my day will come. I have to work my way up to it, though. I don't want to purchase quality hats from Optimo, or Panamabob, or anyone else, and then be afraid to wear them. Admiring them on a pedestal is one thing, but the exhileration is truly in the wearing!

The good thing about a good hat like Panamabob, Optimo, Fedora and Art Fawcett sells is you are just the opposite of mass produced hats they are made for wearing and will hold up. I have hats from all of them and I wear them daily and nary a problem. :cheers1:
