*** SOLD ***
I'm selling my Optimo "Mitchum", size 60cm (7 1/2) in emerald green.
I've kept this hat in the original Optimo box since I got it a few years ago because I started wearing my hair shorter and that has me more solidly wearing a 59 in just about everything. I don't want to get into resizing it and I'm happy for it to find a new home on a lounger with a slightly bigger head. There's a tiny bit of discoloration on the front part of the sweatband - I tried to capture that accurately in the photos - otherwise it's in perfect shape.
Bound brim is 3". Crown is around 4 1/2" in front and 5" in back but wears a bit taller. Grossgrain ribbon is 1 3/4". Wind trolley is snug. Opening measures roughly 8 1/4" x 6 7/8".
The felt is a standard weight and of course it's pounced impeccably and very even. It's my understanding that Optimo blends the furs for their hats to suit the style and color of each model, so they don't just list rabbit or beaver as we've come to expect. If the Mitchum was all beaver someone should let me know and I'll update this.
Photos below and thanks.
