One off Schott 118 sold, replaced with a 618 maybe a big mistake?

That looks great and the leather looks thick enough. I don’t see any signs of creasing Oe wear. It does suck that it was positioned as new but like you said it was a good deal for sure. The ends of the cuffs look perfect that conditioner did the trick. I think you did good does it still have some leather scent?

No that new leather smell is not there.
I have OCD I guess. Just could not keep the color wear spots.
