Mike, cool collection of photos and super outfits, the experience sounded great fun.
One for the list.

Incredible guys ❤Our most recent 'jaunt'. Over 3oo miles in 3 days, from Paris to Angoulême, last month. Boy it was warm!
Ben was on a pre war (WW1!) Tapon, of Angoulême. And I rode a mid 20s Bruneau Durieux, a Brussels machine.

Fabulous gents
If you ever ride out locally for fitness or practice, make a point of taking the A35 through Lyndhurst and on towards Christchurch. About three miles on from Lyndhurst you will come to The Holmsleigh Tea Rooms, formerly Holmsleigh railway station. It's a lovely ride and a great watering hole, sadly, like everywhere else at present, it's in lockdown. I'm looking forward to seeing the place reopen, I don't have an SJC shirt but I do have some of his shoes.I really must check into my thread more often ...
Here is a little Jaunt we did this time last year, to Normandy again. Despite being in mid October the weather was unseasonably mild and we were in shirtsleeves most of the time.
